- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for lighting works including luminaires, accessories, wiring, lighting controls, and related components.
- Develop tender documents, cost estimates, and pricing schedules in accordance with project requirements.
- Assist in value engineering studies to ensure cost‑effective lighting solutions without compromising quality.
- Review and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project specifications.
- Prepare cost comparison reports and commercial evaluation summaries for management approval.
- Support procurement by identifying competitive suppliers and monitoring price trends for lighting materials.
- Review technical submittals from suppliers to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and standards.
- Coordinate with design and engineering teams to clarify discrepancies in scope, quantities, or material specifications.
- Ensure all commercial documentation meets project and contractual requirements.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of BOQs, quotations, tender documents, and communication with suppliers.
- Prepare periodic cost reports, forecast summaries, and budget updates.
- Assist in preparing contract documents, variation claims, and cost impact assessments.
- Use MS Office, Excel, and procurement or cost‑management software for quantity takeoff, cost tracking, and reporting.
- Ensure accurate and professional formatting of cost documents and tender submissions.
