A Major Holding Company located in Doha, Qatar, with an extensive Hospitality Portfolio, is looking for an Executive Chef.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Executive Chef role located in Qatar. The Executive Chef will manage daily kitchen operations, oversee food preparation, and develop innovative and creative menus while ensuring high culinary standards. Responsibilities include training and leading the kitchen team, maintaining food safety and hygiene compliance, managing inventory, and ensuring cost control without compromising food quality. The role also requires working closely with management to create a memorable dining experience for guests and contribute to the overall success of the establishment.
Qualifications
- Strong culinary skills, including menu development, food presentation, and proficiency in a variety of cooking techniques, catering expertise, Desserts Knowledge & Bakery is a plus.
- Leadership and team management skills, with experience in training and supervising kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
- Cost control, budgeting, and inventory management expertise.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
- Creativity and passion for culinary innovation.
- A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience of 10 Years as a head Chef or Executive Chef, particularly in high-end hospitality or fine dining, is an advantage.
