We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Draftsman to join our Client team in Lusail, Qatar for a project duration of 4-6 Months.This role is critical in supporting our business consultancy services by creating detailed drawings and plans for various projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering principles, along with proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit software. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure that all designs meet the necessary specifications and standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop detailed electrical and mechanical drawings using AutoCad/Revit software to represent project specifications accurately.
2. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and translate them into comprehensive drawings.
3. Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders and ensure compliance with industry standards.
4. Prepare technical documentation and reports to accompany drawings and support project presentations.
5. Conduct site visits to gather data and assess existing conditions for accurate drafting.
6. Ensure that all designs adhere to safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
7. Stay updated with the latest drafting technologies and industry trends to enhance design processes.
8. Assist in the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates based on drafted designs.
9. Provide training and support to junior draftsmen and interns in drafting techniques and software usage.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Minimum 5+ Proven experience as an Electrical and Mechanical Draftsman in a consultancy or engineering environment.
2. Strong proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks, with a portfolio showcasing previous work.
3. Excellent understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and power distribution.
4. Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and high-quality drawings.
5. Effective communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically when addressing design challenges.
8. Knowledge of local building codes and regulations relevant to electrical and mechanical drafting.
9. A degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
