Key Accountabilities
Supervision of Subordinates
- Organize and supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the activity is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating procedures and policy.
Budgets and Plans
- Contribute to the preparation of the budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified.
Trade Services Management
- Plan, develop and implement the operating plan and objectives for the Trade Services function, in partnership with the Head of Operations, to enable CBQ to deliver on its strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures and processes in order to drive improvements in process, efficiency and customer experience.
- Review and recommend updates and revisions to guarantee texts, trade services agreements and other departmental documentation to ensure appropriate management of departmental risk exposure and to ensure that the bank is appropriately protected against potential losses.
