Department Profile:
The College of the North Atlantic - Qatar is inviting nominations and applications for the position of Budgeting and Analysis Specialist in the Finance Department. Reporting to the Section Head, Budgeting and Analysis, the Budgeting and Analysis Specialist must be competent with the skills and expertise necessary to support the Finance Department in fully implementing the College’s mission and vision.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will provide necessary support in the preparation of CNA-Q’s budget plan. The successful candidate will maintain budget guideline policies and procedures, in addition to implementing them in alignment with the CNA-Q budget objectives. The candidate will review the allocation of expenditure, update the yearly budget, develop financial reports, review CNA-Q financial data, and report risk factors.
The Budgeting and Analysis Specialist will coordinate training workshops, and ensure proper implementation of a standard financial compliance system. He/she must maintain strict confidentiality of financial information and budget records in accordance with CNA-Q’s confidentiality policies.
The position incumbent will be required to serve as the point of contact for internal stakeholders to address concerns and budget related issues. In addition, the Budgeting and Analysis Specialist must maintain a secure filing system, maintain appropriate documentation in PeopleSoft, and attend relevant training and development opportunities.
