Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Director for our Hospitality division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading sales initiatives, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth within the hospitality industry. As the Sales Director, you will oversee all aspects of the sales process, from strategy development to team leadership, ensuring we meet and exceed our sales targets. This is a senior leadership role, requiring strong industry expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of market trends in the hospitality sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and execute the overall sales strategy to achieve company revenue goals and market expansion.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing sales team, ensuring individual and team targets are met.
- Foster a performance-driven culture, setting clear objectives, tracking progress, and providing coaching to the team.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales strategies with company goals and initiatives.
Business Development & Client Relationships:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base across key market segments.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring long-term business success.
- Oversee key negotiations and close large contracts, ensuring favorable terms and profitability.
- Develop tailored proposals and presentations to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
Market & Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences, ensuring the company remains competitive.
- Adjust sales strategies based on insights to stay ahead of industry shifts and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and market trends to continuously refine sales techniques.
Revenue & Market Growth:
- Drive revenue generation through new client acquisition, upselling, and cross-selling services within the hospitality industry.
- Identify new business opportunities, including corporate contracts, group bookings, private events, weddings, and conferences.
- Develop and manage pricing strategies, promotions, and packages to maximize revenue across all segments.
- Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to ensure the company remains competitive in the marketplace.
Sales Performance & Reporting:
- Monitor sales performance against set targets and KPIs, providing regular reports to the executive team.
- Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas of improvement and implement action plans.
- Ensure accurate and timely sales forecasting to help manage company resources and production.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure the delivery of outstanding customer experiences.
- Provide feedback to product development teams based on client insights and market demands.
- Coordinate with finance teams to ensure proper pricing models, invoicing, and payment terms.
