Overview:
Co-ordinate, identify, develop and execute strategies for tenders and contracts.
Briefing of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain deep technical knowledge of project execution methodology.
- Evaluate contracts, quotations and make legal/technical recommendations.
- Be commercially astute, and shall be capable of taking up assignments in all aspects of contracts and project control including cost control.
- Be a competent negotiator.
- Advise Planning Department, Project Manager, and Operations Department about contractual rights and obligations.
- Evaluate & monitor contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts.
- Attend negotiation meetings with clients.
- Coordination with Estimation/Proposals team for the review of bid preparation process from time to time.
- Exercise authority at the level determined by management for the position.
- Establish control procedures, standards and complete the assigned tasks within the stipulated time frame.
- Be focused on the needs of the customer/client and strive to exceed their expectations.
- Develop and maintain harmonious working relationship between subordinates and superiors.
- Critical thinking, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions to choose the most appropriate one.
- Complex problem solving, identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
