Job Summary

Job Responsibilities 1
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and specialty drinks, following standardized recipes or creating unique concoctions.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting patrons, taking drink orders, and engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of various types of alcohol, liqueurs, mixers, and garnishes, as well as the ability to recommend drinks based on customer preferences.
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked, including wiping down surfaces, washing glassware, and restocking inventory as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments, giving change, and reconciling cash register at the end of the shift.
- Adhere to local alcohol service regulations, including checking identification to verify legal drinking age and refusing service to intoxicated patrons.
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, and supplies, and notify management when stock needs to be replenished to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning tap lines, changing kegs, and troubleshooting equipment issues, to ensure the bar operates efficiently.
- Encourage upselling by promoting specials, new drinks, or premium beverages to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with other bar staff, servers, and kitchen staff to coordinate orders, maintain service standards, and contribute to a positive work environment.
