- Duties:Develop and implement Lead Loss Prevention (LP) engineering activities including development of philosophies, codes of practice and standards during FEED, detailed engineering, commissioning and start-up to ensure compliance with NFXP standards. Review contractor’s loss prevention, SHE risks, process safety engineering design deliverables and support the FEED/EPC contractor by providing clear and timely guidance to close out LP studies/activities to complete engineering design milestones.
- The role requires conducts technical evaluations of multiple tenders for large capital projects.
- Indirectly supervises contractor’s Loss Prevention Engineering personnel to effectively steward the Loss Prevention scope in accordance with project requirements, from contract award until delivery.
- Maintain effective working relationships with contractor and stakeholders (e.g. Operations and SHEQ) to ensure alignment on overall delivery of Loss Prevention scope in accordance with project requirements and plan.
- Define scope, review and verify a large number of SHEs studies in a timely manner to make design decisions to meet project execution milestones.
- Make practical judgements and make decisions on LP issue resolution.
