We are looking for a highly experienced Legal Advisor to join our team in Qatar. As a Legal Advisor, you will be responsible for providing legal assistance and guidance to our company on a wide range of legal matters. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our business operations are conducted in compliance with local laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law and a deep understanding of the legal landscape in Qatar.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support to the company on various legal issues.
- Review and draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Assist in negotiating and structuring business deals and transactions.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, including litigation and arbitration.
- Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and mitigate legal risks.
- Provide training to employees on legal matters and compliance.
- Build and maintain relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities.
Preferred Candidate:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Legal Advisor or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law and regulations in Qatar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in the private sector is preferred.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
