We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning all maintenance activities within our organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our equipment and facilities are properly maintained to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of maintenance processes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule for all equipment and facilities.
- Coordinate with maintenance technicians and operations personnel to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks.
- Create work orders and assign them to the appropriate maintenance personnel.
- Ensure that all required materials, tools, and equipment are available for scheduled maintenance activities.
- Monitor and track maintenance performance metrics, such as equipment downtime and maintenance costs.
- Regularly review and update maintenance procedures and documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to optimize maintenance operations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintenance standards.
- Collaborate with procurement and inventory management teams to maintain adequate stock of spare parts and supplies.
- Provide technical expertise and support to maintenance technicians as needed.
Preferred Candidate:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance planning or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning techniques and best practices.
- Proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
