The incumbent will support designated service development projects; provide varied and complex administrative support concerned with these projects in order to meet organizational requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Partner in development and operations of corporate data warehouse architecture, data modeling and ETL
- Providing development of service analytics, reporting and dashboard solutions
- Support corporate data governance initiatives, including data quality, metadata and master data
- Interface with health care providers to determine and communicate needs, requirements and align data analytics tools and resources with business initiatives, goals and strategies
- Planning and organizing new data warehouse and analytics initiatives using standard project management approaches
- Training, leading and mentoring technical staff and staff involved in project management
- Performs and documents procedures for data preparation including data cleaning, standardization and analysis
- Develops data collection and evaluation methodologies, including format design, project criteria, requirements, data compilation, relevancy and usage
- Ensures quality data collection techniques are established in PHCC
- Manages the enhancement of the business line’s data analytics strategy and identifies, and recommends business, technology and process improvement / opportunities
- Providing support to internal stakeholders in managing digital data analytics and reporting as well as overseeing the development of analytical tools and solutions in PHCC
- Validating and modeling data based on ETL, along with measurable conclusion for the stakeholders and management to support decision making process
- Determines data needed to be collected and the appropriate data resources for specific health data projects
- Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual data reports for distribution and prepare AD-hoc reports
- Business Partner with department co-workers to understand objectives in the area of work, develop a plan on how to provide high standard, and develop shared accountability for implementing and evaluating the plan
- Demonstrate proactive approach to patient safety by thinking what might go wrong in all undertakings and take necessary measures to prevent them from happening
- Identify and report potential or actual patient safety concerns, errors and/or near misses in timely manner
- Follow patient safety-related policies, procedures and protocols
- Demonstrate a sense of teamwork and effective communication
- Partner with line manager to understand risks in the area of work, develop a plan on how to mitigate those risks, and develop shared accountability for implementing and evaluating the plan
- The incumbent will undertake any such related duties or responsibilities as directed
- Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard any sensitive information
