<br />Develop promotional and advertising materials for the hotel/resort,

<br />Reach out to organizations and businesses that might require a hotel/resort for conferences and events.
<br />Meet with representatives from these companies to explain the hotel/resort's merits and amenities.
<br />Network with wedding planners and special event planners to encourage hotel/resort bookings.
<br />Design and advertise special group rates and packages to increase larger bookings.
<br />Overcome hesitations of clients to close a sale.
<br />Manage accounts of high-profile clients.
<br />Process payments and applies discounts as necessary.
<br />Address and resolve any issues or complaints regarding sales or marketing.
<br />Ensure that guests are enjoying their stay at the hotel/resort and that large group needs are met.
<br />Maintain positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat and recurring business.

<br />Requirements
<b>Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</b>
<br />Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
<br />Exhibit excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
<br />Willing and able to travel to establish and maintain client networks.
<br />Demonstrate ability to think creatively and analytically.
<br />Capable of creating and maintaining a large client network.
<br />Demonstrate familiarity with budget software and financial management.
<br />Communicate clearly and effectively.
<br />Possess strong leadership skills.
<br />Familiar with the workings of the hotel/resort and hospitality industry.
<br />Demonstrate strong persuasive and negotiation skills.
<br />Work well with a variety of different individuals.
<br />
<b>Education and Experience</b>
<br />Bachelor's Degrees in Business, Marketing or Finance
<br />Preferably Master's Degrees in similar fields.
<br />7 years of experience in the sales and marketing sector, preferably in the hospitality section.
