One of our clients, subsidiary of Qatar Petroleum Offshore Department, is hiring for QA/QC Coordinator (Offshore Project) on contract role to be based in Qatar with occasional visit to offshore project site. This is a contract role with initial duration of 5 months (renewable).
The QA/QC Coordinator (Offshore Project) is accountable for the following activities during project execution by Major Project Division:
- To Coordinate the Quality Control and Surveillance Activities with a strong support to packages regarding Metallurgy, Welding and Non-destructive Testing.
- To establish and implement the Project verification strategy in line with Regulations and Company requirements.
- To review and give advice on Contractors', Subcontractors' and suppliers' QA/QC Inspection & Test Plans for whole coherence and adequacy.
- To define, organise and coordinate the Quality Surveillance of Contractors and of their main Subcontractors, organise Pre-Inspection Meeting and visits in coordination with concerned Project Managers, and issue updated evaluations of their performance within the project;
- To follow in term of quality and surveillance the Long Lead Items (LLI) directly procured by NOC.
- To participate in the establishment and implementation of the Major Project Quality Management System.
- To implement the NOC Technical Referential and applicable local and international codes.
- To assist Projects in the execution of the FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, transportation and offshore installation works.
Project Details:
The aim of the wellhead platforms Project is to install two new wellhead platforms 24 well-slot (CE and EH) bridge-linked to existing platforms (CD and EG). Batch 2 main facilities include Jacket, Piles, Topsides, Bridges and Integration works.
The QA/QC Coordinator is mainly responsible for the establishment of the Project Quality Management System, Quality Control and Quality Surveillances activities across the Project from the start of EPC phase till handover of the PLANT.
