- The General Manager has the overall responsibility for the vessels under the Company’s management.
- He has the ultimate responsibility to implement and follow-up the safety and environment protection policy of the Company
Responsibilities:
- Ultimate responsibility for the Company and the vessels taken under management;
- Implementation of the Company’s Safety and Pollution Prevention Policy and motivation of all personnel in accordance with that Policy;
- Having a Management Review at least once in an audit period or earlier when necessary;
- Annual review of the Company’s Safety and Environmental Protection Policy;
- Direct decisive power in all Departments.
- Determination of the Company’s strategic philosophy, its future course and direction;
- Planning, controlling and supervision of the Company’s main activities;
- Surveillance of market developments;
- Ship financing projects
