Senior Accountant (Residential Sales) - United Development Company
Role Objective:
The Senior Accountant shall be responsible to prepare, examine, analyze record & maintain assigned customers’ information and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness in accordance with accounting
standards/policies on timely manner in order to assist the department in meeting its targets and objectives.
Key Accountabilities
- Update and maintain revenue tracking and related working details
- Prepare monthly accounts.
- Daily review, record and clearance or reversal of customer receipts based on related bank statements
- Timely information to relevant stakeholders regarding clearance status of customer payments
- Co-ordinate with all stakeholders and provide customer clearance and SOAs as and when requested
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and yearly books close activities and prepare the periodic revenue statements and related analysis reports.
- Responsible for accurate and timely input of journal entries, account reconciliations, revenue ledger related financial activities and assign entries to proper accounts for month.
- First line of support for user queries regarding customer statement of accounts and additional details for transactions.
- Manage all periodic and ad hoc analysis and reporting requirements for internal + external users
- Support during quarterly reviews and periodic internal + external audits
- Assist in developing revenue projections during forecast and budget cycle
- Identify and recommend areas for system and process improvements
- Prepare ad-hoc reporting as requested.
- May require additional hours at work during financial closing, audit and budgeting periods
