Corporate Governance Manager - Commercial Bank of Qatar
To support the team in the review of policies and procedures relating to corporate governance, and ensuring that the required outcomes are delivered and communicated effectively.
To provide support in managing Board and Committee meetings and corporate events.
Corporate governance
· To support well run of the Board and Board committee meetings with agendas agreed, papers collated, meetings managed and minutes drafted. Deputizing for the Head of Corporate Affairs when necessary
· Support in Board scheduling and logistics and coordinate with subsidiaries.
· Liaise with all Board members for all secretarial and diary matters.
· Liaise and correspond with regulators.
· Provide support for the AGM and EGM logistics and regulatory administration.
· Maintain a checklist of daily activities of the department for prioritization and reference purposes.
· Protect the interests of CBQ where possible.
Document Management
· Maintain data of company’s corporate records
· Maintain and improve Company record keeping. Maintain filing system electronically and physically
· Ensure that all corporate documents are stored in a logical and convenient manner, in accordance with Bank policy, so that information is easily retrieved.

Statements and Reports
Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate departmental statements and reports to meet CBQ and department requirements, policies and standards.
Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment
Ensure all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to so that the safety of employees, quality of products/services and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.
Related Assignments
