Description
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Digital Transformation
• Formulate and drive an integrated Digital Strategy
• Own and lead implementation of Digital Strategy for digital processes, systems, skills, mindset and products in collaboration with IT, M&L Business Units and Commercial organisation
• Own the planning, coordination, and seamless implementation of Digital initiatives across
• Lead by communication, structure, follow-up and personal example the development of a DIGITAL mindset in M&L
• Ensure operations/work/data handling/processes occur in accordance with all relevant legal, regulatory and any other standards and requirements to which compliance is required
Process Excellence
• Own and lead the continuous improvement of processes in M&L: standardisation, simplification, digitisation, transparency and performance
• Implement and drive Continuous Improvement management across M&L, by means of e.g. MMS compliance, LEAN transformation and PEX projects
• Drive (and support where required) the development and execution of process improvement projects (PEX) across M&L
• Lead by communication, structure, follow-up and personal example the development of a mindset of CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT in M&L
• Ensure operations/work processes occur in accordance with all relevant legal, regulatory and any other standards and requirements to which compliance is required
Innovation
• Engage and lead Digital & Process Excellence initiatives with specific customers, suppliers, authorities and partners
• Establish and manage Digital & Process Excellence relevant relationships with relevant customers, suppliers, authorities and industry stake holders
• Actively seek information and connection with relevant sources of technological, digital and process innovation
• Lead by communication, sharing and personal example the development of an INNOVATION mindset in M&L
Leadership
• Provide leadership, direction, supervision and continuous development of the M&L Transformation & Delivery organisation
• Provide recommendations on new subordinate hires and ensure the availability of all resources required to perform assigned tasks and activities
• Supervise subordinate staff, assign work activities, monitor performance and review results
• Act as a coach to subordinates, proactively identify their development needs, establishing development plans and follow-up on these as well as personnel records, timesheets, vacation, leave and absenteeism
Others
• Perform other job-related duties and projects as assigned
