- Establish and maintain appropriate systems (Analytical tools, information systems and models for projection of cost behavior) and policies to ensure effective and efficient management resources.
- Formulate creative solutions to enhance cost effectiveness and efficiency in operation.
- Advice management on matters that have strategic and financial implications.
- Liaise with the relevant role players in the Financial Environment regarding transverse financial matters.
- Ensure effective and efficient financial management/administration by collaborating in the development of training program for Qatari or by providing direct training in Financial matters to Qatari Finance employees and other Qatari employees at managerial level.
- Develop creditability for the Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets and financial reports that will assist managers in managing their responsibilities.
- Enhance and develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures for QEWC by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the company.
- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the company i.e. evaluation of potential alliance acquisitions and investments.
- Design, implement, maintain accounting and financial internal control systems in order to provide appropriate level of security over the company resource and operations.
- Supervise all work practices of Finance department staff.
- Maintenance of accounting system and data and the preparation of financial reports.
- Provide support during internal and external audit and ensure that appropriate measures are taken to address audit findings and recommendation.
