Establish and maintain appropriate systems (Analytical tools, information systems and models for projection of cost behavior) and policies to ensure effective and efficient management resources.
Formulate creative solutions to enhance cost effectiveness and efficiency in operation.
Advice management on matters that have strategic and financial implications.
Liaise with the relevant role players in the Financial Environment regarding transverse financial matters.
Ensure effective and efficient financial management/administration by collaborating in the development of training program for Qatari or by providing direct training in Financial matters to Qatari Finance employees and other Qatari employees at managerial level.
Develop creditability for the Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets and financial reports that will assist managers in managing their responsibilities.
Enhance and develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures for QEWC by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the company.
Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the company i.e. evaluation of potential alliance acquisitions and investments.
Design, implement, maintain accounting and financial internal control systems in order to provide appropriate level of security over the company resource and operations.
Supervise all work practices of Finance department staff.
Maintenance of accounting system and data and the preparation of financial reports.
Provide support during internal and external audit and ensure that appropriate measures are taken to address audit findings and recommendation.
