International Education Senior Specialist (Qatari Nationals Only) - College of the North Atlantic - Qatar

Duties & Responsibilities:
This position requires an enthusiastic individual who will support the provision of opportunities to study abroad for CNA-Q students, and provide a high level of service to students and related stakeholders. To promote the benefits of international education experiences and contribute to the development of new relationships and partnerships to facilitate them, in line with the college’s strategic plan.
The candidate will co-ordinate and administer agreed employee and student placements and projects overseas to enhance and enrich the student experience, including full semester exchanges, international conferences, instructor-led study abroad programs, language immersion training and credit coursework at partner institutions.
The International Education Senior Specialist will collaborate with the Admission and Registration Department and Student Life and Services Department to promote International Education Programs to prospective and registered students during recruitment on campus activities.
More roles include, developing, producing and delivering promotional presentations, materials and publications to inform employees and students, prospective students, families and other relevant stakeholders about international education opportunities as well as providing support, advice and information to students considering international education and study abroad, to ensure they make well-informed decisions.
The successful candidate will deliver pre-travel sessions and workshops to prepare students and employees for travel and maintain communication with students prior to and during their period of study overseas in order to provide support and resolve problems to ensure a positive educational experience.
The successful candidate will support in the research and development of new study abroad and exchange partnerships and opportunities for students in line with College strategy. Also, collaborate with Program Development, Faculty and staff to embed international activities across Schools to ensure that all students have access to relevant opportunities.
