Business Development Engineer - Dewan Consultants

Job Description:
· Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
· Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
· Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
· Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
· Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
· Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
· Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
· Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
· Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
· Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
· Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
· Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
· Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
· Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
· Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
· Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports.
· Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.
· Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
· Develops the skills of the team using methods such as coaching, training and other external sources.
· Issues and monoscope’s for the BD team, ensuring that the individuals receive support in achieving these.
· Liaise with Heads of departments to prepare and submit commercial offers
· Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
· Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
· Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
· Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients ‘objectives
· Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
· Develop negotiating strategies and positions; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners ‘needs and goals
