Business Continuity Specialist - Vodafone Qatar

Role Purpose:
DOCUMENTATION
Support Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Risk Assessment to determine critical processes and recovery resources
Support implementation of the BC strategy for critical processes and sites.
Document business continuity plans for critical processes and functions and Test Reports.
Support business functions for compliance with the ISO 22301 standard.
Gather data related to dependencies for business processes, business functions, applications, technology, and internal / external parties, suppliers related to the business.
Provide support for coordination with the Emergency Response & Incident Management Team during Business Disruption.
Provide regular reports on the status of compliance for Business Continuity Management to BCCM Manager.
Identify Enterprise Risk and Implement appropriate risk reporting to the Audit Committee and CEO..
Ensure that a comprehensive and continuous risk identification process is in place.
Proactively engage the Risk Champions to monitor & report the risks, build tools & processes, drive risk informed decision making and enhance risk informed execution.
TESTING
Update emergency contact numbers and call trees for testing.
Support planning of Simulation exercises to demonstrate the capability and effectiveness of the BC Plans
Ensure all BCP / DR testing results are properly tracked and documented.
Follow-up on all the Corrective Actions resulting from Test and Lessons Learnt from Incidents.
INTERNAL AUDIT
Conduct Security and Business Continuity Audit for all Offices, Sites and VF Stores.
Support closure of Corrective Actions from the outcome of the audits.
Coordinate with Internal Audit Department to achieve desired performance of Risk Management
Support regular reporting and assist Board / Audit Committee in decisions related to Risk Management.
INCIDENTS
Maintain records of incident, impact, actions taken, and outcomes.
Prepare Post Incident Report
COMMUNICATION/AWARENESS
Support education and awareness training for all staff and maintain attendance records
Support maintenance of Crisis Communication Tool / Mass Notification Tool
Maintain Monthly BCM Dashboards for Stakeholders communication
Ensure that cultural issues with respect to Risk Management are effectively managed.
Periodically review risk policies, procedures, reporting templates and framework to ensure everything is up to date.
Facilitate sharing of risk management best practice across the organization.
